Interior Painting and Cabinet Painting

Interior painting covers walls, ceilings, trim and doors, one room at a time or the whole house. Ceilings go first, so drips and roller spatter land on walls that are still to be painted. Before any paint, holes are filled, cracks are taped and patches are primed, because a new coat shows every flaw underneath. The sheen is chosen room by room: flat for most ceilings, eggshell or satin for walls that get wiped, semi-gloss for trim and doors.

Cabinet painting is for a kitchen whose layout still works but whose finish looks tired. Transform your kitchen without the cost of a full remodel. The doors and drawer fronts come off, every surface is degreased and sanded so the primer can grip, and the paint goes on in thin, even coats. The cleaning step matters most: years of cooking leave a film of grease on cabinet doors, and paint laid over grease peels.

Drywall Repair, Installation and Popcorn Ceilings

Drywall repair fixes the walls you already have: nail pops, cracked seams, dents, door-knob holes and old patches that show through paint. Drywall installation means new sheets, for a wall or ceiling too damaged to patch or a room finished from bare framing. The sheets are hung, the seams taped, and joint compound is built up in thin coats and sanded smooth for paint.

Popcorn ceiling removal takes off the sprayed-on texture that was popular in homes of the 1970s and 1980s and leaves a smooth ceiling, ready to paint. That page also covers what the EPA says about asbestos in textured ceilings, which is worth reading before one comes down.

Basement Finishing: Drywall and Paint

Basement finishing with us means the drywall and the paint. The sheets go up on the walls and the ceiling, the seams are taped and finished, and then everything is painted, so a basement with bare joists overhead becomes a finished room. Framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, flooring and egress windows are other trades, and permits are the city's business. Our part starts once that work is done.
